2010-11 Award Announcement

2010-11

This is a federally-funded program that is administered by ISAC.

Award Announcement

ISAC sent an eligibility letter, the Eligibility Certification form and an Information and Student Responsibilities document to new and renewal Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship recipients in April, 2010. An online listing of the new 2010-11 Byrd scholars displays each recipient alphabetically by the student's Illinois county of residence.

Completed Eligibility Certification forms were due back to ISAC on July 15, 2010 so that their college will be able to request payment on their behalf for the 2010-11 academic year. A Notice of Disqualification was sent to those students who did not return the Eligibility Certification form by the July deadline. Students who received a Notice of Disqualification must submit an appeal letter and a signed 2010-11 Eligibility Certification form to ISAC on or before September 20, 2010. If an Eligibility Certification form is not returned by September 20th, it will be assumed that the student is refusing the scholarship and eligibility will be forfeited.

Refer to Award Determination and Notification for the Byrd Scholarship for specific details about the awarding process and links to the notifications and forms.
